IFSEA brings Illinois child support professionals together to share knowledge and learn from each other and a host of professionals in the child support community. It offers Continuing Legal Education (CLE) opportunities both at its annual conference and throughout the year via Web- conferences that are available in nine regional areas of Illinois.

IFSEA serves as a communication hub for child support professionals in Illinois. Members share information via this Website, and through the Forum Newsletter and periodic emails. Members from the Illinois child support enforcement agency, the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, Illinois State’s Attorneys and their staffs, child support advocates and private attorneys are all encouraged to help review current child support policy and practices through participation in one IFSEA’s many committees.

IFSEA is a community of people working together to foster improvement in the lives of children in Illinois though effective child support services. The cooperation of agency staff, legal partners and community organizers has successfully provided these services to families involved in the Illinois child support process and has helped these families overcome barriers to an equitable child support relationship.
