Since the conference, 4 new members have been added for a current total of 133 active 2016-17 members. The committee hopes to increase membership throughout 2017 by marketing and detailing the value of being an IFSEA member. If you would like to join the Membership Committee or would like information regarding IFSEA membership, please contact Lauren Craven at Laurencraven@maximus.com. Application for this year’s membership is also available on the last page of the Forum.
There were 4 scholarships awarded for conference attendance of October 2016:
The Regional Gift Baskets and 50/50 raffle generated over $2000.00 towards the 2017 Scholarships.
2017 Scholarship Information will be available in the June/July Forum newsletter.
The CLE committee presented their latest CLE in February on Procedural Due Process concerns, which resulted in 2 new memberships. The committee plans to present an income shares CLE this Summer, once the income shares tables are published. There is already a great deal of interest coming from private attorneys, so we hope this CLE will result in many new memberships! More information on how to RSVP for the income shares CLE will be emailed this Summer and updated on the IFSEA website.
As always, we welcome new committee members and ideas. If you would like to share an idea or volunteer to participate on the committee, please contact the committee chair, Lorelei Frost
